I had to get some basic head shots posted so I put some in profiles and I figured I would put some more here. I will be doing more of these photos on my own models as everyone needs head shots these days. Here are a few ideas. These shots are of beautiful models that were in the Fall 2009 Vancouver Fashion Week

That doesn’t sound right does it? I spent an hour there today but it was sooooo quiet. So here are a couple of airplanes that flew by me.

2nd last Friday of the month presenting Fur Bowling. I went and shot a second batch of photos of the fur folks. Much friendlier this time, I was only bit once. Just kidding, they are friendly to everyone who happens to notice them, not that they stick out. I shot some video but I’ll have to figure out the whole video thing. I will post some when I do.

So today I went out on my day off and did a photo shoot with Carrie who wants to be a model or an actress. These are a few photos I saw as I moved them to my desktop. I liked the single picture that I stopped and changed them some what in Elements. I have a few more but I am pretty tired and I have a lot of real work ahead of me getting them sorted, picked and touched up where needed.

So here they are.

Here are a few more shots that have not had a lot of work done to them yet. I hope Carrie likes how they are turning out.

BC Furies in the Lower Mainland go bowling in Burnaby

I was introduced to a Vancouver group of Furs or Furies. These people dress up like animals, cartoon animals and mythical animals. They were featured on CSI in an early episode in Las Vegas. This showed the group as a wild sex crazed cult that included murder. This is so far from the truth it is light years off the mark.

This group is composed of like minded individuals with lives and jobs just like the rest of us and they go bowling on the last Friday night of the month in Burnaby on Lougheed Hwy next to the Sky Train Station. They put on quite the show and are non stop posing for kids and adults alike. They are a real hit. These costumes are similar to the ones worn throughout most North American amusement parks.
